These numbers are good but I'm so mad it did not get released in theaters. I know why and it was the right decision but the numbers would be so much bigger with a theatrical release. Once again a failed opportunity, she's truly cursed lol
The streams are very stable. They will keep rising, for a long time I guess

I'm actually genuinely sad and frustrated about it :cry: This was a massive opportunity. I doubt the chance to have the opening credit song to a Disney movie would present itself twice to a singer. Her Mulan songs could have been moderate hits and now it looks like it will fall somewhere between Beyonce's Spirit and Kelly' Broken & Beautiful. She has incredibly bad luck with timing

Weren't they supposed to reveal the revenue of "Mulan" on Dec.10 (Studio Investor Day)? No words on that by Disney. I guess they aren't satisfied with the numbers...

I think the release on Disney+ with the extra 30$ fee and the controversy (followed by the shitstorm and negativity on social media) really killed the hype for the movie.

It's just sad that nearly every project she's involved with in these last years never reaches its full potential and it's somehow attached to the word "flop". This should have been a big moment for her, and even with a huge company like Disney behind, we don't get the full meal but just the scraps...
