That's shocking considering it was quite stable. I was expecting it to be around the 35-40 range.Jamert wrote: Fri Mar 04, 2022 2:15 am Santo has left Viva Latino![]()
It was #33 last week (it's a 50 tracks playlist) so that's a big drop
Same, it spend a good few weeks between 25-30-31-33 and suddenly OUTAngelopoulopoulous wrote: Fri Mar 04, 2022 2:46 amThat's shocking considering it was quite stable. I was expecting it to be around the 35-40 range.Jamert wrote: Fri Mar 04, 2022 2:15 am Santo has left Viva Latino![]()

Maybe payola is over and they are preparing a new single?Jamert wrote: Fri Mar 04, 2022 3:33 amSame, it spend a good few weeks between 25-30-31-33 and suddenly OUTAngelopoulopoulous wrote: Fri Mar 04, 2022 2:46 amThat's shocking considering it was quite stable. MESS @ everyone just standing there...
That sucks. I’m assuming they are prepping for the second EP. I can’t imagine the song just fell out of the playlist as it is growing on radio and was stable unlike SAOKO by Rosalía which has been freefalling on the playlist and is 6 spots from falling off the playlist after starting at #1.Jamert wrote: Fri Mar 04, 2022 2:15 am Santo has left Viva Latino![]()

No, Santo is just going to give up on them
But SAOKO has 21 million streams and was released Feb 4th, 2 weeks after Santo. So that's interesting...NewAgenda wrote: Sat Mar 05, 2022 11:23 amThat sucks. Maybe the hype is over. It’s hard to differentiate between real hits and those that are just hyped today. Nicki Minaj is also freefalling per usual. There’s no reason her song couldn’t stabilize without radio play in the Top 10 if she charted so high. She basically fell off in all metrics after the first week. I believe Nicki has a streaming camp similar to BTS. How would a song go from being highly streamed in one week to making no dents on Spotify or Apple Music the next week? Plenty of songs have stabilized in the Top 10 with streaming only except for Nicki.MaCK. wrote: Sat Mar 05, 2022 1:36 pmBut SAOKO has 21 million streams and was released Feb 4th, 2 weeks after Santo. On the one hand I hate how Viva latino just dropped the song but on the other they were better than other big playlists that refuse to add any Xtina songs!AS wrote: Sat Mar 05, 2022 2:13 pmSPOTIFYSPOTIFY

I’m still convinced she wants organic hits. I think it could happen if she keeps releasing more music throughout the year. I’m convinced their plan to split the album into 3 EPs is gonna be good for her streaming numbers, long term.XAMJ wrote: Sat Mar 05, 2022 5:19 pm Well she really blew a guaranteed smashed, in case we don’t get it, she doesn’t want a hit single. She’s doing it for the music
It lost 50k compared to last Friday. The Viva Latino removal hurt it real bad…AS wrote: Sat Mar 05, 2022 2:13 pmSPOTIFYSPOTIFY

I believe "Santo" was included on Viva Latino for six weeks.Lament wrote: Sun Mar 06, 2022 11:29 am It lost 50k compared to last Friday. The Viva Latino removal hurt it real bad…
They must be preparing for the new single/second EP, there's no other logical explanation. And it still doesn't even feel logical. Santo was doing good, why kill it like that?
PMM spent 10 weeks in the playlist. That was Santo's what? 5th? 6th?
She has to perform the song multiple times for it to have a chance tho. I still remember Alicia Keys’ “Girl on Fire” started off as a huge flop, but then she remixed it with Nicki and stayed performing it on every tv show for like 6-8 months whether people wanted to hear it or not and then it became a hit. Christina is not an artist that can just release a song and it organically becomes a hit. Think about Christina’s last hits like FTM and SS, the common theme was that she was performing the songs multiple times on tv.AS wrote: Sun Mar 06, 2022 12:09 pmI believe "Santo" was included on Viva Latino for six weeks.Lament wrote: Sun Mar 06, 2022 11:29 am It lost 50k compared to last Friday. Obviously, without that playlist the streams will go down a lot.. but lbr even the inclusion of the song in a huge playlist like that one didn't really do anything noteworthy at the end of the day. "Santo" is catchy and features Ozuna, a current hitmaker, but it still failed to be a hit. For some reasons, Xtina's music just isn't connecting with the general public.
She doesn't seem concerned with having hits tho, so we shouldn't expect anything more or different with the other two EPs.![]()
