2025 is a SERVER BEGATHON year!

Hello and good day to all you lovely creatures.
Hope your holiday season in whatever form you celebrate it is treating you well and keeping you fed and moisturized.
So yesterday we had a little bit of downtime in the early evening which got fixed up pretty quickly but did lead me to go over to the hosting peoples and have a look around again at our usage and resources. We are currently on the higher plan offered for Cloud Hosting, with some more above us and a few below us in terms of costs. As it stands, keeping our current plan, the cost for the next 2 years of the server will be around $1300. Dropping us down a level would bring it to around $800. These are now prices, and come February when the renewal happens, they may be different, but it should give us a fair idea.
Our use of the current resources available is pretty negligible, both in terms of bandwidth and usage. We are a smaller community nowadays, and we are not eating up as much as we used to (just like our queen
). So I’m gonna drop us down so we have a cheaper renewal next year. It shouldn’t affect your use in any way, but I always like to be upfront about all of this when asking for your money lol
So, in summary…
- next server renewal is coming soon
- needs to be finished (and paid) by February 15
- I’ll put up the begathon next month
- Total amount should be lower than last begathon’s due to change in server plans.
- Martina is a sexy bitch.
As has been the case since it was created, whether the site stays or goes, is always entirely up to you guys. I do think there’ll be aRED for a long time, but that’s just me being optimistic.
