Aguilera's era lasted for a full year sisters and it gave us so much! Music videos, performances, A grade collabs and also a Grammy! Not only that, she attended the ceremony, walked the red carpet, gave a speech, and sang beautifully with a very good pronunciation too.
All of this for an album which is not written in her first language. All the signs are there for a really solid English comeback, perhaps starting with another Grammy and a heartfelt documentary.
I'm really happy for Christina, we all know how sensitive she is and being recognized after all these years must've felt so liberating and cathartic. You are loved Queen

I know this is a dream but I kinda want her to stick with Spanish music for a while. Fuck the English market. They don't deserve her.

Well, the reception is proportional to the effort she has given tbh.

I now see the ingenuity behind her choosing to include traditional tracks in Aguilera.. It's in these particular genres where vocal expression matter the most and honestly, she has few peers that can match her in that respect. She was a shoo-in for this category from the beginning.

Just cause of one Grammy? Nah... Actually, it's the Latin girls that don't deserve her. English album would've charted, just saying. Personally, I hope she never releases another Latin project ever again. This era gave us a lot of great things but it was thanks to Christina. Latin fans failed miserably this time, imho.

Last time I remember them being together was in 2011 when she did a performance at a charity event he was doing. But I feel like they will always be somewhat close with their shared childhood, both knowing methney us a crazy bitch on a personal level, touring together and always saying great things about each other.

It would be fun to see her, Justin and Ryan gosling together since Justin and Ryan are still close and Justin and Christina are close enough he could bridge the gap a bit since. No methney needed, the true long term successes of the MMC.
