Yes, I have seen this pic used almost everywhere! There is a real push in the media for this song to be a hit. If it doesn't do well it will be embarrassing for them but the brittards will then blame Elton John.

No one should be surprised if the song is a hit. Elton John is a Legend, the song is already a classic, and we are talking Britney Spears. Who I don't consider a Legend but more like an Icon as a Dancer, Performer whatever in Pop music.

I always find it interesting that when it suits Britney’s narrative, she’s Madonna’s heir because she’s so musically gifted and in control of her career choices.

But then the narrative changes (from the same sources and fanbase) to “she’s fragile and being coerced and bullied as we need to look after her” when it suits the storyline they’re trying to push.

It’s like, which is it? Because it can’t be both. I understand that peoples lives and careers have seasons so it won’t be the same all the way through, but I’ve never known any other artist have their fans / management / PR flip flop their storylines so often.

Anyway, as far as the song goes, it’s cute. Better than the demo I heard. It’s not something I’ll add to a playlist but I can imagine radio playing this and people getting into it.

Does it show any growth? No
Is it going to set the world alight? No

But I suppose it doesn’t need to. It just has to put her music back into the publics conscious.

The test will be if she’s ever scheduled to perform it…
