Absolutely.. I've realized this since day one.. I mean she doesn't have to if she doesn't want to but I find it strange especially that X has performed with her, always mentions her and has even done a secret photo shoot with her (that never saw the light of day).

Yeah i've always wondered and i think it's because Madonna is very competitive with talented women in the music industry, i feel that she is insecure knowing her voice is very mediocre, so Britney is the obvious choice. In addition, she is rooting for her because she is weak.
Same reason why Moo doesn't acknowledge her. It would be hard to admit that there is a newcomer who is more beautiful, talented, and charismatic than you.

This is true. I mean, Christina is a vocalist, first and foremost. I know she's also done pop, but right now, the GP remembers only her anthems.

Madonna loved Christina in her early days. I remember in an interview once, someone asked her why don’t you praise Christina as much as Britney and she said something along the lines of “Christina is a tough girl and can handle her own battles, whereas Britney is someone who needs a security blanket” or something along those lines. She basically called Christina strong and Britney fragile. So ya Madonna gave Christina the highest compliment.
