Shes a young singer along with her brother Leo. They are the latest generation of the Aguilar 'Dynasty' in the Mexican regional/Ranchero genre. Her grandfather was one of the OGs a long with Pedro Infante, Jorge Negrete. Her dad, Pepe Aguilar, carved an immense career on his own and he now tours with his two kids world wide (Angela & Leo).

Im particularly impressed with her comment about technique bc she was professionally trained all of her life growing up. She has a great voice as well but can lack on the emotional part (probably due to her young age). She has a tremendous legacy to live up to which makes her comment stand out IMO.

Y’all said she doesn’t do medleys well…no she’s got to do a little bit of a 20 year old song and then what, PMM? She’s releasing the ballad on the 18th. She needs to perform PMM and the new ballad in a medley then maybe a Selener cover if she does have a second performance slot.

If she does perform a bit of PMADT, it won't hurt. It's been 21 years, it will remind older generations and the new as I'm sure they've heard it before (in Latin America) but may not know her specifically. She's hardly been active in that market for a long time (with the exception of HTGDT).

If she doesn't, that's OK too. BTW, is the Selena thing confirmed or is that a rumor?
