I wish Christina had done the EPs with Bionic as there’s multiple EPs on that and they would work better separately then consolidate for a vinyl. Experimental (Birds of Prey, Bobblehead, Bionic), Commercial (Woohoo, Glam, Not Myself Tonight) and the Ballads (I Am, Lift Me Up, All I Need). The first Spanish EP was experimental, the second one was Easy Listening, Commercial Pop and I’m wondering what the overall sound will be for the third one.

Can we get into the production?! It’s amazing and sleek with some nice bass. I love when songs are bass heavy. Her voice rides these beats so well.

I’m glad it’s not just me that recognizes the greatness of TDLM. La Tormenta is using her Debutina voice meaning the straight clean singing, but obviously her tone adds more color now than her debut.

TDLM is the best song on La Tormenta.

This EP has a nice breezy easy listening summertime vibe.

Yes, I think she’ll be more like Patti and Gladys who reached their vocal peaks in their 40’s and 50’s imo. Christina seems to live a relatively healthy lifestyle so that helps a lot in preserving the voice.

Agreed. As a longtime fan, I’m just happy she’s releasing music on a more consistent basis that she put effort into creatively in the studio. The videos and performances are bonuses at this point. She said she didn’t care if she sold 2 copies ahead of Stripped’s release and now that we are in that era, we see she really doesn’t care about sales. I’m here for the music and don’t care for charts even if I was stanning Dua or Harry. I care about liking the music.

Let’s relax. Unfortunately the releases have been messy for over a decade, but who cares? The music is here. She wouldn’t chart regardless and people know it’s here that care.

This EP is more vibey. Still good tho.

La Fuerza did what it was supposed to do and she delivered quality music and videos. The haters and the fans don’t understand sales aren’t the only metric for success in 2022. Christina is a legend and just needs to keep putting out amazing music like she has been doing again since Liberation.

Listening to the stellar La Fuerza now. Christina is really delivering the goods now that she can do what she wants musically without interference.

This is my favorite era since B2B! Laughing at the haters thinking she was shelving the EPs.
