Wow, it’s so nice to see people pour their heart and soul into their work with Xtina. She deserves it all. Those who put in minimal effort for years can GTFO and must be seething right now

Return to “Christina performing at Hollywood Bowl this summer!”

We got new fan faves “Maria” and “Twice.” We stan a current Queen!HRH Lady Mamacita wrote: Sat Jul 17, 2021 1:25 pmI can’t believe she wasted her B2B gems yet again. Candyman is a well known song, and with the LA freaking PHILA Understand or Mercy On Me… what could’ve been. Ah, Christina. Ah…..SanelyInsane wrote: Sat Jul 17, 2021 2:03 amThe setlist was def a let down.Martin wrote: Sat Jul 17, 2021 1:47 am I agree the setlist definitely could've been better, but we gotta remember, when booking this show I don't think it was done with exclusively Xtina fans in mind. Similarly to Vegas this was more of a general public type of show, so I can see why she chose the usual hits with some Liberation sprinkled in. At least they were arranged differently so it was still a fresh experience.
This was the perfect opportunity to showcase a side of her artistry the world hasn’t seen yet and she disappointed with this setlist. A nice show but def could’ve gone a lot better considering she had the LA Phila Orchestra behind her. Oh well. She did look amazing though.
Yeah we need to remember this. This set list IS EPIC. She didn’t lie.Leon wrote: Sat Jul 17, 2021 9:17 am There were 17k people there of which maybe 1k knew that setlist by heart? It wasn't solely for us. A nice re-intro to a lot of people.
I think it was the “blood, sweat and tears” comment by Matt that did it this timeJimmyboy wrote: Sat Jul 17, 2021 10:27 am Lol, I too was expecting a different setlist but we should know better by now.
She sounded amazing, so let’s celebrate that
He’s been trying to build his Xtina fan pages for over a decade. This was rage-uliera-online’s big exclusive and he blew itRum+Vodka wrote: Sat Jul 17, 2021 2:50 amHe was an asshole. it's one thing to sing loud and ugly and annoying as fuck while live streaming it's another to ruin moments with yelling "fuck you" and "fuck you. sorry" like you have no goddamn sense over and over again and talk over moments.Kitana wrote: Sat Jul 17, 2021 1:23 amHe’s almost overdoing it purposely because everyone is telling him to pipe down. What a child.
UIWY found dead in a ditch near the Hollywood Bowl!wellokaythen wrote: Sat Jul 17, 2021 2:08 amShe still performed a few of her newer fan faves like Maria and TwiceBad_vocal_technique wrote: Sat Jul 17, 2021 2:06 am I am hoping this is a closure to the past hits and now really focuses on the new music. The show was epic though. The general public doesn’t know she’s had the same set list for years like us.![]()

we can do without the commentary
I can appreciate it could have been nice for the US girls, with the SuperBowl ads and all of the exposure. But for the rest of us... it wasn't great watching X abandon her fanbase. She stayed too long doing that. An artist of Christina Aguilera's calibre should not be spending years of her career helping Curly Sue win a music competitionBotchedBody1 wrote: Fri Jul 16, 2021 8:26 pmwe are usually on the same page but not on this topic. there's no telling where she would be if she didn't have the Voice keeping her name in the headlines those years. Plus the exposure she got to the younger generation has certainly not hurt her. she was arguably more connected with fans while on the voice vs during all those years off.George wrote: Fri Jul 16, 2021 8:23 pm It wouldn’t be on my ideal set list... but “Sick of Sittin” from THAT stage is a nice acknowledgment of all the years she wasted on a reality TV show set, distanced from her fans.
