But they met again at the Grammy press conference and took pictures together, they seemed to be having fun. I wouldn't be surprised if they release a song together... In which case I might expect to see her getting another Latin Grammy nomination next year...

Re: 23rd Annual Latin Grammys (17.11.2022) | AGUILERA 7x nominated | WON Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album
Yup, I knew it.
Anyways, it was a nice run!
I would have loved for the Muchachas to get one too but I'm happy Christina got a new Latin Grammy. And maybe this increases her chances for the Grammys next year!

I'd be really surprised if Motomami doesn't win, but it would be nice if Christina takes that one too!

Re: 23rd Annual Latin Grammys (17.11.2022) | AGUILERA 7x nominated | WON Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album
Lately, urban rhythms have been taking over, so there aren't many big voices. Usually, big vocalists are older or do other genres, not pop.Marcus Stanthony wrote: ↑Thu Nov 17, 2022 10:27 pm Do Latinos not appreciate big soulful voices? Very few performers have exhibited such…

This is amazing! I'm happy that she won with the album category. I would have been happy if she had won for the songs individually, but it's better when she's recognized for the whole album!

Giiiiiiiirl, I don't know what the hell they were going for. The lighting was all kinds of wrong, to the point that if you looked away for a second you might lose focus of where Christina was. And Christian Nodal totally blurred into the backgeound
I don't know what the hell is going on with the performances this year. They all look so cheap

I don't think it's an age thing. Nicky Nicole is 22, Becky is 25 and Nathy is 27, and they all had amazing chemistry with Christina.lurk wrote: ↑Thu Nov 17, 2022 9:08 pmThat's what I think too. They honestly do sound great together but the kid is literally 23. He doesn't seem too jazzed to be singing with Xtina and nor does she with him.
This guy is probably just not very familiar with her or interested in her music. I don't know, maybe we'll see them interact more in the future, but I doubt so.

I guess they never even met. It sounds like he was plugged into her song last minute to help her with that Grammy nod. But what do I know

So cuuuuute! This was sweet. I wasn't feeling the outfit though. But it was a nice performance. Powerful! It definitely helps having someone else to give her a rest between belts.
And thank God for the mariachi behind her who she could follow whenever she forgot to jump in, LOL

I don't think they'll announce if if she's just an attendee. So she must be taking part in some way.
I would love to see her try to present an award in Spanish. Bitch better start rehearsing now.
And a performance wouldn't surprise me, she's one of the big nominees this year

Y volverá a callar bocas. El talento siempre gana.

Re: 23rd Annual Latin Grammy Awards (17.11.2022) | AGUILERA 7x nominated, including AOTY!
That's a weird ass example. Becky G hasn't won any Latin Grammys despite the success she had with that song, and she's not nearly as influential to Latin pop as Christina was.fogsz wrote: ↑Thu Sep 29, 2022 5:34 pmdid u see views of Mayores by Becky G?dita wrote: ↑Thu Sep 29, 2022 5:32 pmthese two Latin platinum singles say hellofogsz wrote: ↑Thu Sep 29, 2022 5:21 pm Remember that in categories like Record Of The Year there's like 10 artist nominated.... Actually this album (commercially) wasn't a sucess, so if she would win many Grammys the latin community will be very mad. Winning 6 grammys and not releasing spanish album in 22 years? And the album its not even released in 100%? This is not a hate post, i'm just worry a little bit. I think that she would win easily Best Mexical especially with Nodal and maybe Best Pop Vocal Album - two and goodbye. But who knows what will happen...
do u know what means latin platinum (how many copies)? Its nice, but that's not any sucess in era of singles.
I want her to win all of the 6! But i don't want to read the hate of latin community later all around it.
Also, Latin Grammys aren't usually about success. Some winners of Album of the Year and Song of the Year were barely popular, and they're rarely even the most popular artists. Sometimes a random artist wins in various categories, even legacy acts win sometimes out of the blue. Like Luis Miguel with a traditional Mexican album, or Vicentico with a rock album, or Alejandro Sanz with a pop album. And these are people with decades in the industry.
So no, it's not usually about sales, and it's not usually about popularity. Christina has both and she's extremely loved in Latin America, so nobody would hate on her.
Also, the fact that she hasn't released an album in Spanish in 22 years is pointless. Christina's albums, even the ones in English, are ALWAYS on top of the charts in Latin America. Even Bionic went straight up to #1 in Mexico, Argentina and other countries. So people support her regardless.
