So that's all folks."I hardly ever troll Xtina herself. I just get into those lunatics heads a lot and it's funny. If my actions are THAT triggering, I wouldn't want to start a bigger mess. I'm a laidback person usually, and now there's a thread on a rather small board where I'm being dragged left and right It's not that deep. I don't feel like I have to ~justify~ myself in front of a loonies court. I'm not Cersei. I will not entertain DevotionHurts and the likes either, so just ban me and leave it be."

[BAN DISCUSSION] Should Gabe. be banned permanently?
I've spoken with Gabe. He won't be participating in a rebuttal. He had this to say:

[BAN DISCUSSION] Should Gabe. be banned permanently?
Trolling is very much a catch all. I can tell you directly that, much like porn, you’ll know it when you see it. A negative comment about Christina may lead to a report, but most likely no action on my part, depending on the user. Not playing favorites, but there are users who criticize her in a constructive manner, or who do it to point something out, and those might get reported alongside the user who comments negatively about her by bringing up others (Gabe, for example). It’s up to me then to decide if that’s really someone being a troll, trying to get a rise out of people, or just a comment, not meant as anything else than an opinion, which is not a bannable offense. Intent matters. Or as much as I can divine from a users post history.DNNY024 wrote: ↑Mon Jun 01, 2020 3:49 pm If he was never here for X to begin with, be gone with him already. That kind of energy is not needed anywhere. "just here to level up for the other pop girls" that's bullshit sis, that's an 'I'm here to mess' gaffette.
Can there be clearer rules on what's considered trolling and what not? It's always a mess whenever two knuckle-heads disagree on their own interpretation of a banable offense.
The clear cut rule is if you’re here spreading hate, you’re out. Unfortunately, we seldom (if ever!) get posts like “xtine is shit”. There’s more nuance and skirting of the topic, where they’ll be open ended about it, and say “well, my fave is doing great. How about yours” with the caveat that, tho you’re here, Christina may not be “your fave”. Having done this for a few years now, I like to think I can tell the difference between those trying to play off a joke versus those who are not obviously interested in X and just here to piss others off.
But again: I can tell you when I see it.

i wouldn’t expect him to have read the rules. Or any of my posts on this very thread stating exactly that.dinvy wrote: ↑Sun May 31, 2020 5:59 pmPermanent BansAgugaga wrote: ↑Sun May 31, 2020 5:48 pm I wonder if jorge. will give me and others the same privilege when we are banned, by opening it up to a public option. You’ve really sunk to new lows by doing this and have opened up a can of worms. Everyone is going to be asking for the same treatment.
[*] All bans are carried out by the Administrator.
[*] After someone has been banned for trolling twice, their fate will be left to the users.
[*] A vote will take place, by the general board, as to whether they deserve to come back or be permanently removed.
[*] Users facing a permanent ban will have a chance to defend themselves.

Gabe has now been banned twice for trolling/negativity. There won’t be a third time. Your vote will determine if that’s the case.
He will get a chance to lay out his case, if he wishes, when he returns from this 7-day ban. If he does, we’ll have that discussion. If he doesn’t, then he’s accepting these results regardless, in which case that’ll be that.
Vote away.
1. He chooses to participate in this, and decides he wants to provide an appeal of sorts, either explaining his reasons or promising a cease of those activities, I’ll submit another poll, cause I’m a whore for emotions and if they bother, y’all at least get to decide it. (I’ll also unlock the Ban Log Lounge to the masses, which will serve as Archive/Discussion for whenever these things happen).
IF
he say “fuck it, I’m not writing a mea culpa”, then he’s banned permanently.
Regular bans from reports will be at the hands of the Mod Team (namely Martina, and yours truly) but permanent bans will be up to you lot. Democracy rules.

thats the idea behind this. If they choose to participate and answer, that is.Thainus wrote: ↑Sat May 30, 2020 6:20 pm I think people who might get banned for "constant negativity" should also have the chance to defend why they want to stay, and why they're such salty cunts. If he doesn't have any reasons to stay and feels like he's not as good as a Fighter as he's a Lamb, then let him jump over that fence onto better pastures.

[BAN DISCUSSION] Should Gabe. be banned permanently?
An alternative I can come up with now that things are established properly with different forums, even tho the vote so far is pretty definitive, is create a new user class that isn't allowed access to the Xtina Lounge, only to the OT part of the board.
Would that be acceptable to you all?
These polls would be replaced by "Would you like to deny access to the Christina board to ______" instead of a permanent ban.
Thoughts?

First time doing this process, so I’ll lay out the rules.
