At least now I don't gotta go check back on xRED a few times a day to adjust anything.

It's honestly worth it to come to this solution just so I can avoid having to think of anything else.

I haven't done much else other than this site for like 3 days straight, so a bitch is gonna take a break as soon as I finish adding more emojis and updating the reactions extension and refreshing the count for the desnudate lounge. but other than that, a break.

I'm procrastinating, so it's done. xRED is now LOCKED. Feel free to log in and get whatever receipts or avatars you wish.

that’s the primary reason we’re moving. It’s not the only reason I closed xRED. Now it’s about hopefully getting back my $300+ investment to get this up and running, and if that happens, then to keep it going by paying for the server through whatever I can get with ads.

I thought I would reopen xRED after a day and just have you guys back and forth, but it doesn’t really make much sense from any way you look at it: each forum is just going to pause each time the other is open, so with that in mind, here’s how I’m going to go about it:

- xRED will reopen, but in read only mode for all registered users. I’m going to strip away all user ranks and categories, so I only have to deal with registered users outright when setting permissions.
- You will still be able to access all content once you’ve signed in (except for the 18+ lounge, which we will lose altogether) but you won’t be able to reply to any thread or make a new one. This is just for information keeping purposes and for those who may need to get any information from PMs or their profiles. The active forum will remain here, at Aguilera.RED.

It’s the best way I can think of honoring my commitment to those who donated for the server last year (the site will stay up until it isn’t), and I can also transition away from it and to this one, which, assuming everything ends up well on the ad end, will not require you lot to donate ever again,

This will happen as soon as I can arrange it. It's now live. I’ll link back to xRED from here and it’ll become the xRED Archives. I’m looking at moving it to another place before it closes so it can stay that way, as an archive, but no promises since the trick I had been trying didn’t work out.

(archives/xred would have been where they went over here, but again, restoring it as not as easy as phpBB makes it out to be.)

So until then
