I think you’re all getting a bit ahead of yourselves. Temper your impressions since the leaks do appear to just be demos. Normally, I wouldn’t expect significant changes in the final product, but if PMM is suddenly going to add three more vocalists, then anything can happen.

We know she’s working with some of the most acclaimed talent in Latin music and it seems most of the brunt work was done this year, so it shouldn’t sound “dated”. We weren’t even supposed to hear the songs in this form, so just wait. We should have a real update within the next 2 weeks.

I was having a convo with my sister and brother-in-law about Britney’s conservatorship recently and he brought Xtina up. My sister said she’s “off the grid”, but remembers when she used to do The Voice. Hopefully under new management, Xtina can achieve some recognition for her music that she hasn’t gotten in years.

track release date. EP is more of a guess at this point, tho the rumors do point to a 2 EP release.

@Postertina says this EP will have 5 tracks and Christina says they’re releasing multiple EPs through next year because “there was so much material”. Unless the second EP has more songs, I think we’ll get more than 2.

Now that I’ve heard Santo in full, it’s kind of generic, but am more confident it’s just a demo. The production really needs to pop and hit harder throughout. The little “Becky G” vocal towards the end was cute, but unnecessary. Christina can provide those vocal layers herself and do it better.

We did see the credits for PMM before any of these audio leaks and it included Nathy Peluso, Nicki Nicole, and Becky G. I’m just going to assume we only heard the demos and the final version has their vocals. :mamacita:

I totally feel the same. Neither of them really sounded like Christina albums to me. Liberation wasn’t bad, for example, but it felt like it was missing a lot of Christina’s personality.

These two songs are bursting with personality! She sings so passionately on PMM and like she’s having fun on Santo.

I’ve only heard a few snippets, but “Santo Salvame” is a bop!!! Idk why some people are saying it doesn’t quite sound like Christina. Her voice is very recognizable here. It’s more of a club banger. Becky’s voice compliments Christina’s nicely.

I love the adlibs at the end for “Pa’ Mis Muchachas”. It’s extra, but that’s why we love Christina lol. Still, she’s making more creative, new choices with her adlibs that it will impress fans. The instrumentation is more Latin-influenced akin to “Havana”.

Overall, I’m liking the production and her vocals on both songs so far. Both feel quintessentially Christina in a way I haven’t heard from her in a long time.

It’s mid-spring in the southern hemisphere currently, which includes South America. It’s good timing now.

I think the songs are deliberately short to cater to streaming platforms, but the apparent sound quality could also mean they’re demos and missing parts to them.

I’d be shocked if “Pa’ Mis Muchachas” has no features since Christina loves to add other females onto female empowerment anthems. I just hope it’s more light-hearted than “Fall in Line”. Very curious to hear more from this “rare tone”.

The last thing we heard was that she has already recorded two music videos, and that the first EP is ready. That means that the marketing department from Roc Nation is currently working 24/7 figuring out strategies with RCA/Sony for the release.

I wouldn't be surprised if they are currently booking radio interviews, television appearances (in Spanish television networks), live presentations, etc.

A Rosalía collab might be on one of the EPs slated for next year. Knowing Christina, she’s going to separate the EPs by their sound, similar to what she did with B2B. I see a Rosalía collab being more flamenco/folksy-inspired and the two songs that have leaked are apparently more contemporary.
